Introducing FOUNDATION
We're Building The Greatest City In The World
Hey there! Good things have been happening with the city I’m working to build in West Texas - and they’re going to start happening much faster. I wanted to take a minute to share an update - and a brief recap - on the object and the status of our project to build the greatest city in the world in the heart of West Texas.
I’ve been busy working on FOUNDATION - a community for enterprising & patriotic Americans who want to build a spectacular city, then pack it to the gills with as many capable, interesting, & extraordinary people as we can find - and reap huge rewards.
Why do we do this? In large part, in response to the rise of AI - which will soon destroy essentially all of the “real” knowledge-work jobs that a hundred million Americans hold - is the one of the great challenges of our time, and creating a local taxing polity that is fundamentally OURS will mitigate how that impacts us to a substantial degree.
Beyond just surviving, though, we intend to thrive. As we concentrate a huge number of brilliant people in one place, incredible things will happen that otherwise never would. Big ideas get exchanged. Technologies get invented. Artists inspire the world.
We will learn from the failures of past cities to build the greatest place on earth from scratch. Enormous wealth, culture, comfort, and power can be ours, if only we work together and push forward to build this place. It won’t be easy - but it will be worth it.

The next post on this blog will be going over how we’re going to buy land, build infrastructure and housing, and grow our budding town from zero residents to 200, so that we can legally incorporate a new city under Texas law.
I had some ducks to get in a row in my personal life before I could throw myself fully into this project - notably, quitting my job to focus on this entirely. Now, though, we’re off to the races. I’m excited to walk this road with you, my friends.
